Lipscomb on the Podium

This year we’ve witnessed Matt Lipscomb’s talent riding a road bike with multiple results on the pavement. Over the weekend, we’ve learned that Matt also has some serious skills riding a track bike on the planks of a velodrome. Matt represented the Hincapie Development team at the USA Cycling Junior National Track Championships in Trexlertown, PA and left with a treasure chest full of precious “medals” that would have made Blackbeard blush. On Day One, Matt grabbed the Silver Medal in the Individual Pursuit and a 5th place medal in the Kilometer Time Trial. Day Two Matt snatched another medal with 4th place in the Points Race. And Day Three he wrapped things up with a bronze in the Team Pursuit race. Way to go Matt! Now I wonder if Matt’s fast on a mountain bike too...
